-We need to make a way for users to delete posts. So far it's only possible for social media posts, while a user's looking at their own wall. I'd like to take the same trash can symbol we've been using there and add it to edit mode for all post types:
subjects - problems - ideas
private - curated - and quick shares
Social media posts should also have a delete button added to their edit mode. So that deleting posts works the same for all post types.
Let's place the delete post button near the bottom, just to the right of the buttons: "Update Post" and "Cancel".
-While you're updating all of those I would also like to edit the "Back" button on them and their layers. Because right now it takes you back to edit mode or post creation if that's the page you were previously on, which can be super confusing and leaves users needing to re-navigate to their wall or wherever it is they were before they created or edited a layer or wiki post.
-While you're updating Subject posts, let's update the button that takes users to a list of all related Problems. The one we're using now looks more like a keyhole than a broken light bulb, so today I made this instead:
-Idea posts aren't loading unless I log in. (The URL looks normal so all the information I have is "We're sorry but something went wrong. If you are the application owner please check the logs for more information"). Please make it possible for visitors to see ideas.
-Let's add the mapping/geomaxxing button we currently offer logged-in users on the nav bar, to the nav bar that visitors see. So they can click on it and see the world map, and see what an interesting project this is without even needing to create an account. -This is already such a cool website, we are so close to being ready to go public that I'm literally mapping out the last milestones before I say it's ready. (as I've said before there'll always be more ideas that I and others have for the site,
but now it'll actually be time to start attracting lots of people and start using it).
-I've been really liking the new Idea post format, let's make Subject posts like that too. -So that people can list resources and other things with those too. -Lemme know if you come up with any questions or decide you'd like a mockup. The only real differences between the ideal Subject post and the ideal Idea post is that a Subject post has the broken bulb button that links users to a list of related Problem posts.
-Let's also officially make geomaxxing into it's own unique post type. This basically just means adding "Geomaxxing" as an option for "Post Type" on the search page so people can look them up using keywords and other info.
