I have seen many examples of this everywhere; I hate when people write extremely biased articles without context. Of course, some people do this without knowing, but how can people be more aware? How can people know if media is being manipulated or not? How can people know the real truth without knowing if there is one?

I really couldn't agree more. In fact this problem opens up a whole universe of important new questions, like what we want media standards to be, and what we can do to recognize how people target and influence ourselves. Because everyone seems to just imagine it working on other people.
