Since Needpedia's already made of volunteers, it might be really nice to have a news-crew that reports on new developments, and possibly even works to help communities work things out, or simply feel more heard/respected. There could be segments on data science, wholesome or funny stuff, and highlights on important projects.

People want to know what's really going on in the world and Needpedia is an archive for all the best ideas on Earth, so I see a huge potential for a volunteer news network to spring up, especially now that Needpedia's supplying all these new tools for creating new tools. (collaborating with programmers directly using Needpedia's Layer System).
